Friends: 0 |  Diagnosis 21 Last night, a few seconds after starting the car the MFD started to beep and act very strangely. The climate control screen popped up with the message "Diagnosis 21". I switched it to the energy screen, and "Diagnosis 21" was shown instead of the outside temperature. I shut down the car, waited a few seconds, and re-started... did not re-occur. Very weird... anyone else experience this before? Is it a software bug or something that I should be concerned about? |

Friends: 1 | Re: Diagnosis 21 me neither, will check my prius stuff when i get home my guess until then would be a power on self test message, which wouldn't be in any prius manuals, but in some toshiba/denso manual theres a post i made in the knowledge base, you could check the mfd lan monitor page to see if it logged any ram or rom errors. i think the code is 01-21-110-a-b or 01-22-110-a-b a= unknown meaning b= number of times the errror occured 01-21 01-22 rom error ram error 110 mfd Last edited by rigormortis; 11-14-2008 at 02:26 AM. |
