OBD2 scan tool

We were at Sears and I spotted this new scan tool. The company also has a web site that allows you to look up codes!

Link to the scan code look ups: OBD II Code Definitions - EQUUS PRODUCTS, INC.

I checked the look up function with two known codes and it appears to be accurate for those two. Try U0293 and get the return values of Generic Lost Communication Hybrid Powertrain Control Module

when buying a scan tool, i would advise getting the newer ones that do CAN, and there
are some that can be upgradable via the internet
