Friends: 0 | I had an error DTC P0010 "Camshaft Position "A" Actuator Circuit (Bank 1)" Following the factory manual I removed radiator cover and air filter box to allow access to OCV Oil Control Valve (sometimes called VVT solenoid). It's located on the front surface of the cylinder head under/away from the oil filler cap & snugged up under the airbox. It has a two wire connector and is held to the head with a single 10mm bolt. Turns out the OCV has an open (should have around 7 ohms of resistance), Easy to check it on the car after removing wiring harness plug. Anyway, has anyone replaced one of these? What is the approx part cost and the part number if you have it handy? |

Friends: 44 | I haven't replaced this yet, but the following website can be your good friend: ToyoDIY.com Looks like MSRP is $104 and the part number is 15330-21011. How do you know that the part should have 7 ohms resistance? I agree that if the measured resistance is infinite, then it needs to be replaced. |

7 ohms is from the official service manual. OCV probably died because car was in a front in accident...since it's at the front of the engine it may have been damaged, even though it "looks" good. | |
