Toyota extended warranty

Your call depending upon your confidence and comfort level. It's basicly insurance and you could loose the $1000 it'll cost you if you don't use it or you could save several thousand if you need it. Many find it easier to wait the 3 years/36k you have to decide and buy it then if your car seems to have lots of 'issues'. If it's running perfectly and hasn't had a single problem and you're more of a gambler then it may be worth it to skip it.

These threads discuss the pros and cons. But as Evan points out, it comes down to how comfortable you are with the risks.

The good news is: you can buy the extended warranty anytime before the first 3 years or 36,000 miles of the car.
