Friends: 0 | The definitive sign of needing a new fob battery is when the little red light no longer lights when you press a button on the fob. There's nothing special about the required screwdriver except that it's small. Lots of hardware stores and Radio Shack have them, singly or in sets. |

Friends: 0 | Many thanks, all! Your help is much appreciated. I have found a v small screwdriver (not that I need it at the moment). I thought I required a Philips type due to the cross shape of the slots in the crew heads. |

Friends: 0 | Phillips #0 works for me* - there's a 'bit' in my multi-bit set (screwdriver body with replaceable heads). Cost £4 ten years ago - was discounted from £8. * not smart-key "Jeweller's" screwdriver sets normally have #0 and two sizes smaller of Phillips-head driver called #00 and #000. |
