Friends: 0 |  "lights on warning signal" Why is my prius not chiming or "screaming" that my headlights are still on when I exit the car (it is powered "off"?? I have left them on several times without knowing it??? |

Friends: 0 | Re: "lights on warning signal" If they are on when you open and exit the driver's door, they should shut off, assuming that they were already on when the car was turned off. If the car was already turned off, then you turned the lights to park or full on, they will not shut off when you open the car door. So to recap: do whatever you want with the parking/headlights prior to turning the car off. Then when you open the driver's door, if they are on they will turn off. Just the way that Toyota does it on the G2. Best wishes, Frank |
