wiper blade replacement

My turn to feel stupid and ask a dumb question.

I bought some highly rated Bosch Evolution wiper blades for the front, and the installation pictures look easy. So, I took them out to the car thinking it's a two minute job, and...crap, how the heck do you get the old ones off? I don't see any removable pins or clips like I was expecting. Help please.

I was gonna suggest vise grips, a hammer, and duct tape....but if you wann use the release catch, that's your choice.!
