Default Dim illuminated steering wheel switches.

I've had my '05 Prius for three weeks now. I've noticed while driving at night that the steering switches are VERY dimly illuminated, almost as if they are an afterthought. There is no way to adjust the brightness of those steering wheel control switches. Are everyone else's switches that dim too ?

They are dim. The dealer should be able to brighten them. Thanks for the reminder lol. I wanna brighten them up a tad too.

FWIW, the steering wheel buttons are nice and bright in the UK - only slightly dimmer than all the rest of the controls. I think it must be because your steering wheel's too far away from its correct position... :P

Too dim... asked the dealer who asked Toyota who said "thats how they are". So not adjustable I guess.

Odd. I swear someone here said it was adjustable. Hmm, maybe danman can help us out.

They are very dim and there's no way to make them brighter. Fortunately it does not take long to learn by touch where they are and how they work.

It was thought that they were adjustable, but alas, they aren't.
