Default Euro vs US MPG

Just for future reference. While the Japan/Euro Prius has 16" wheels and the US 15" the Euro fuel numbers convert to the following:

Extra Urban conditions L/100KM 4.2 equals 56.003 MPG
Urban Conditions L/100KM 4.8 equals 49.003 MPG
Combined L/100KM 4.3 equals 54.701 MPG

I don't think the Euro has the thermos either do they? How about the gas tank bladder?

AFAIK the Euro Prius doesn't have a bladder either, just a normal petrol tank.

When they report info to two digits (4.2), it
implies that it varies in the finest digit (like 0.1 out
of 4.2) so there's no sense in converting this with
five digits of precision. Tank-to-tank variations
on MPG might reasonably be in the 5% range
for any driver.

Instead of being concerned about significant digits, I'm more interested in the difference between "Urban Conditions" and "Extra Urban Conditions."

Also, is there a rating for highway driving?
