Friends: 0 | We got our '09 Prius one month ago. Have only got 510 miles on it. Per the MFD we are getting 56.2 mpg so far. Needless to say...........we're very happy with the car. We've owned 4 previous Toyota's that were great too, but we love the Prius. |

Friends: 0 | Rolling hill driving, interstates mostly with a tremendous tailwind. Set the cruise control to 66 and in 480 miles we averaged 58 mpg at the gas pump. The Multi-Function Display said we had 54 mpg. Next day under slightly lighter tailwinds we averaged 55 mpg. |

Friends: 19 | Interesting. This is the first case I noticed that the MFD mpg is lower than pump mpg. Maybe just the bladder issue. |

Friends: 6 | Almost certainly the bladder. Eventually it's bound to happen. If you look at this version of my spreadsheet, you'll see that in about 1/3 of my fillups the MFD mileage is lower than calculated. |

Friends: 0 | Just took our first trip in our 2010 and we had a tank of nearly all 55 mph roads with little A/C and CC nearly all the time. 653 miles on the tank for a calculated MPG of 57.9. In this case, we drove roughly 6 hours a day for two days on one tank! |
