Friends: 22 | Well I too get all red when braking but the voltages go above 18v. I'm assuming thats a good charge voltage for the cells. By default this voltage would be a warning from the CAN-View. While driving the voltages did not do much but that may be because the Hymotion was topping them off and keeping things even. I'll do another test when I get home by running off the stock battery only to see what happens. |

Friends: 22 | Sorry I forgot to update. I did a test without the Hymotion and I got pretty much the same results. I got high voltage when braking and some lower voltages when hard accelerating. Really nothing to worry about. If I had a way of recording the numbers I would post them here. Maybe one day I can get my video camera out and record the results. |

Friends: 9 | i hope norm will put it on the data output. you can collect date over a longer periode to see if there is any change in the cell voltages and so detect a problem. |

Friends: 22 | Thats what I asked him to do when I seen that he added this pack voltage info. He said something along the lines that he would think about it. |

Friends: 9 | lets wait and see it would be great if the temp hack can be swichted on and off by canview based on some canbus info.. |

Friends: 22 | I don't see how the temp hack would work with the can-view unless you can spoof the CAN packets instead of using the actual hack. That way the can-view knows the actual temperature all the time but will give the car the fake value. If you use the can-view to turn on the physical hack the can-view would have no way of telling what the actual temperature is. What would be nice is if the can-view could fake the temperature over the CAN bus and do everything on its own including clearing any errors that may occur while using the temperature hack.

Friends: 22 | If you did it that way you would still have to adjust a POT unless you just bypass the coolant resistor. You would also want the hack to be on when the engine is on if your actual temp is below 150F and you speed is greater than 41MPH. This way you can do warp stealth or get 150+ MPG. |
