Default Best mileage tires for 2005 Prius

I have a 2005 Prius with 111250 miles on it. I have blown through 3 sets of tires since I bought the car new. I need another set of road tires for Spring/Summer/Fall. I drive in the hill country in upstate NY so my mileage isn't anything to write home about in the first place. Can somebody advise me on the best mileage tires that will last a bit longer than my average (37K) thus far?

Thanks

I'm looking at my first replacement set at only 25,000 miles. The Integrities haven't lasted. I'm looking at going with the new Goodyear Fuel Max in a 195/65/R15.

My Goodyears are gone with 22,000 miles. I am going to be getting 4 Cooper CS4 Touring T-Rated for $360 out the door. 80k mile prorated warranty, we have them in 215/60/16 guise on the 2007 Camry and they ride better than when it had the stock Michelin MXV4 S8's. Quiet and cushy ride.

Hi,

I have a 2005 also and went 39,000 on the Goodyear Integrity tires. I've replaced with Michelin MXV's I bought at Costco. So far, with about 13,000 on them, they still look like new and are quieter by far than the original tires. I haven't noticed any real difference in mileage either. I also have a 2007 Camry Hybrid and replaced the Continental tires at 29,000 due to excessive noise. I bought the same Michelin MXV tires for this car as well and with 22,000 miles on these, they are still like new and just as quiet as the day they were installed and only about 1 MPG less than with the original Continentals.

Search the threads,,

But for a GREAT all season,, with a very aggressive tread, great handling (compared to the OEM POS) Nokian WrG2. We've put ~15k on a set with 1.5 coast to coast trips, no mileage hit compared to OEM. Not cheap at ~$105 @ but far and away the best all round tire for the Prius unless you live where snow and rain are NEVER a factor.
