Friends: 0 | mel, cze? I think the entire stock wheel tire weight = 35 lbs? I don't think you can find to many more 15x6 wheels on the market, period. But if you want to upgrade to a larger size, such as a euro 16" or other 16" or even 17" you should expect to add at least 4 lbs per wheel/tire. And budget for possible 8-9 lbs per wheel/tire. |

Friends: 0 | The wheels I looked at where 14.6 lbs. and 15 X 6.5's and they support the stock tire size. You also knew more about the Prius charging system than I did. Is there a source I can get my hands on get info like this, so I don't have to bug you guys? |

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.jsp?mak...rtnum=865SR5INT Not sure if that means 16.5 rounded up or 17.9 rounded down. It could be anything in between. So that means the factory wheel (14.33 pounds) + tire (17 pounds) = roughly 31.33 pounds. If you are interested in changing the wheels and/or tires, be sure to consider the weight of your new purchase in order to maximize MPG. | |
