how dose the 5 mins bars work on 01

on 01 sow dose the 5 mins work when it show blue all the way to the top on the 5 min bar am i chargeing or consuming energy how how would it look ing when i and chargeing the hv batt on the screen and one have one that know thank you

I'll repeat here as I did on PriusOnline, though I'll clarify a point I made there.

On the consuption screen you refer to, the 'blue' bars refer to the efficiency of your travels in Miles per Gallon. Basically it is showing inversely the amount of fuel you are using, unless you are in Canada, in which it is measuring L/100KM, where it is showing your actual consumtion.
Within those blue bars, you may see stars (cars on the newer models) which indicate 50WH of electricity generated during regenerative braking. 50WH is the amount of electricity you would consume from a 50 watt bulb burning for an hour.
