Friends: 0 | Hmm Buy a Prius Jan 1 Fed Tax Credit - $3150 Google Employee Rebate - $5000 State Tax Credit (CO or WV, maybe others - ~$3400) DC Waives the Sales Tax on Hybrids - so figure $1800 savings (and also discounts Hybrid Registration). So, $10K Plus off the purchase price. Nice |

Friends: 0 | I have some friends who work at Google. Amazing place, and wonderful side benefits. (However, still not able to compensate for living in the Bay area.) |

Friends: 0 | My group subsidizes bikers (they are into bikers because the Medical Director is a biker) and car poolers. It is not a lot of money, but it does acknowledge the effort. I am pushing for them to do the same with hybrids. We shall see. |
