Friends: 12 | I just got off the phone with my sales guy. He has a white (second choice) coming in for me, and when I asked about the interior, he said "whatever they're making." He said we don't get a choice of the two colors, they make a batch of them one way, and that's the way they all come, and then they switch. ???? Anyway, I really don't want the bisque, and just because I'm sitting here waiting around for a call back from another dealer, I thought I'd see if there was any validity to this statement... and what interior colors the whites have been coming with. Anybody? |

Friends: 0 | [quote] ... and what interior colors the whites have been coming with. Hi darelldd My white '06 #8 has the dark grey leather interior. It is what I wanted. It turned out darker than we expected but we like it. In fact I would not have the light interior which is the alternative for white cars. I believe it is best to decide what color and package you want and then be patient and have it. Compromise in order to have a car a few days sooner and you just may be sorry. Anyway, Good Luck! Friends: 12 | Thanks Alan. I wonder how the fabric and leather correspond regarding what my sales guy was telling me... I like darker interiors because combined with tinted windows, the security and privacy is much higher. You just can't see into a dark car with tint, where you easily can when the interior is lighter. And then there's the "keeping it clean" thing! Getting everything I want isn't just about waiting... at this point it is also cost. Will cost me $1000 more to get my first color choice (silver) but if I can't at least get the dark interior in the white one, that's the way I'll go, I think. We'd also like to get CA HOV decals before the 50k mark! |

Friends: 0 | Hi darelldd, I ordered my white '06 with the bisque interior. I was against it initially, but I really like it now. (my wife wanted the bisque because our other cars have dark interiors). I had a deposit at another dealership back in Dec. and their white came with the dark interior. The car is usually driven only solo, or with one passenger, so getting the interior dirty has not been an issue for us. Good luck! Justinc Quote:

Friends: 0 | darell: No, hanlee's is mistaken if he said "first a batch of one, then the other". That's small-dealership, half-assed thinking. Someone around here---don't remember who---has numbers on exactly what percentage of colors, ext/int, and with what packages, are being manufactured. Maybe C. Rickey Hirose over on Priusonline can tell you---if he doesn't immediately know, he's so enthusiastic, he'll find out for you. Anyway, if I were you I'd want gray and hold out for it (with white). If I were getting silver, I'd probably take either. I'm really liking my bisque, but I think the gray would have gone equally as well with red. |

Still no call back from my sales guy. I'll bet he calls when the market shifts to the buyers! | |
