I was waiting for a Red or Silver pkg #6 with another 2 months to wait
when I stubbled on a Silver Pine Mica available at another dealer. So I
decided to go for it. The only annoyance is that the interior is Dark Grey
which I think kinda clashes with the exterior greenish Pine Mica. I would
have preferred the Bisque interior but no biggie I guess.

The dealer tried to sell me extended warranties and pre-paid maintenances
but I passed since I read that I can buy these plans later on. The dealer
was telling me they have to be bought at the time of purchase only.

It's my first Prius. I'll be picking it up in the morning.
I had driven one for 2 days back in November and liked it.

You have the silver I noticed. Do you have the dark grey
interior? Is is hard to keep clean?

I like my prius. I do have the dark grey. It's fairly easy to keep clean.. when i try. My carpets are a little stained because i was in colorado for 5 months and the mud and dirt and salt on the normal rug kinda stained it.... so.. i need to do a little stain removal.

Over 50k miles. I always achieve above 40mpg.. and i usually drive fast. I can achieve around 60 if i wish.. but eh.. sometimes i like to drive fast.

Back to interior.. just wipe it off.. chocolate, ink, blood, coffee, babys milk... take a damp cloth and wipe it down.

Hey, do you guys know if you can cancel the service plan? I'd rather do that stuff myself now that I'm comfortable with the car. The endless stories of the dealer overfilling the oil and the hassle of taking the car anywhere for oil changes has got me thinking that I should just do it myself. At the time that I bought the car I was totally uninformed and pretty clueless.

hmm.... good question.
I know you can camcel the extended warranty but don't know about the pre-paid maintenance (if that's what you're referring to)

Yup. That's it precisely. I shoulda never purchased it, but at the time I had no interest whatsoever in cars. The Prius has changed that. If I'd only known. <_<

I think you have only 30 days to cancel the Pre-paid maintenance. If you have used it then I don't think there is anyway to cancel. But I could be wrong and Toyota may pro-rate the refund.
