The local NBC affiliate ran a piece last night about the "dangers" of hybrid vehicles. Really negative, showing mostly a 2004 Prius, and mainly about local and county training efforts for emergency responders. Nothing mentioned about the benefits of hybrid vehicles.

The ironic thing about this is that their lead off story was about how high the gas prices are in Tucson!

Well, suppose they tried to introduce the ICE automobile today? Instead of batteries, fuel cells, or oats for the horse, this buggy carries 12-20 gallons of gasoline, a flammable liquid.
