Color of Prius bumper protector?

I brought my 2006 Prius in for its first oil change today, and while at the dealer, ordered the bumper protector. The parts guy said it only comes in transparent, no colors. For some reason, I thot it came in black. Has anyone heard differently? Thanx.

The Prius bumper protector is actually a bumper appliqué. I suggest you cancel the order. If you looking for the black rubber one, it's from the Corolla/Matrix.

i used to have a good shot of it, but somehow it got lost in the whole posting-to-new-photo-gallery-software thing. that one is listed for the corolla/matrix. the applique is a thicker, glorified sticker...

Yeah, it's basically a clear sticker that says PRIUS on it. Whoopdeedoo.

Thanx, I appreciate the photo. Do you think it will look good on a Super White Prius??

I just put a black one on my car, no photo yet. I got it off E-Bay. The protector itself was labeled as being for a Corolla. It fit just fine. It is also cheaper. I bet there are lots of photos with the black protector on the car. Mine looks fine, not as sporty perhaps but just fine.

I just bought a black one using ebay. Total with shipping and insurance was $34.24. The same one is for sale right now.
