Prius beat out the Mazda RX-8 by almost 2 to 1, and left the Cadillac XLR in the dust. If you have time, check out the video on the Toyota.com site with the unveiling of the Highlander Hybrid SUV and the FTX full-size pickup, which gets a 'Hybrid Synergy Drive' emblem tacked on it at the end of the presentation. Those of us who have been so lucky as to have taken delivery of our Prius, should be proud that we are among the first to drive the cars of the future. Thank you Toyota! And thank you to the 'Prius Pioneers' for getting the ball rolling!

With the unveiling of the 2010 Gen III Prius in less than a week, I'm bumping some of the original threads from PriusChat dating back to the introduction of the 2004 Gen II Prius.
