Hi
Hey yesterday after work, I started my Prius and my NAV sys had no GPS signal... So went for a while and still no signal.. 20 miles. Stoped and restarted the car and drove home a diff state and still no GPS signal..
This am the same problem. Any help would be a big bonus

<_< Have you tinted your windshield? - or placed anything atop your dash. The GPS Antenna is under the dash near the base of the windshield. Some tinting materials have metallic content which can interfere with the GPS antenna.

You need to let some air out of your tires. 15/13 psi seems to work best for ocean driving, although mileage suffers a bit.

If you have a wireless device in the car it can interfere with the GPS, and ditto for a Bluetooth device (and yes, I'm aware the car can come with Bluetooth).

If not, then the "active antenna" may have failed. See your Toyota dealer.

Check under the driver's seat for the GPS unit. Make sure all the cables are plugged in - one may have not been seated far enought to latch and has come loose. Might save you a trip to the dealer (are there any dealerSHIPS out there in the Atlantic??)

Thanks all for the input, and I will check for cables and turn off BT.. I am almost to spain on my navi

ps the dealer told me that they have had tons of problems with the factory nav. and they replaced 1 the same day I stopped by to make an apt.
