I've been the proud owner of many toyota's. I've own the original Van..the one where the driver sat on top of the front wheel.....and one of the things about the Toyota's is the Things that you figure out about the car that you didn't know.....The engine in the van was a kick...it laid flat on its side under the floor of the van...it was great pulling into a service station and the attendent (they had them back then) would ask if I wanted the oil checked and I'd say yes and then proceed to get out of the van and lift the seat up so he could check the oil.....it was a kick.....In the Seana that followed that van it was cup holders....we were always finding new ones we didn't know about. The 4runner had the hidden compartments as well as my Tundra....And today i learned something new about the Prius. I work in a Gov't facility, and since I bought the prius I've had a Cardboard Temporary pass on the Dash in front of the driver to get on base....Today...an unexpected emergency stop slid the temp pass forward on the dash and the speed odimeter and gas gauge disappeared.....I didn't realize that the gauges up near the windshield are reflected up from the dash....See learned something new....oh well ...that's my tale for today....

yeah, our speedometer, odometer, etc. are only a reflection of the display that is way below.... it is pretty cool, although some complain about a green reflection on the windshield at night. I just turn my lights down. But yeah, I find something new about this car weekly, if no daily. It's really made driving fun again!!

I too owned not one but two Privia (not sure if that is plural or not, sure sounds like it <_< ) Finding the oil fill location was always a challenge for non Toyota oil change guys. My son still owns and drives our last one (200M+), out on the prairie in Minnesota. Both were AWD and I waited until Toyota again marketed an AWD minivan. (2005 Sienna with all the cup holders) And I like it, BUT my Prius is the car I have enjoyed the most since my 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible (good thing gas was .25 cents a gallon then) and my 1972 Datsun 240Z days. I love this car and praise it every chance I get. Thanks to all the posters on this forum I have learned more than one should know about any vehicle.

A simple surprise, but found today that the CD player on my 2004 not only mutes the stereo, but pauses the CD during a BT call. Quite nice during a good Book on CD!
