Calling all sharkfin owners

Hey folks,

do any of you have a spare stock antenna base lying around that you don't need any more?

If so, is it possible that I can get it off you?

Some of you may or may not know but I've damaged my base when I backed into the half-opened garage door.

The whip part is fine I believe but the base isn't. I have a gap between the base of the antenna and the roof of the car that's currently filled, covered rather, by duct tape.

I was hoping that if you had replaced your stock antenna with the sharkfin, that you would have no need for the stock antenna.

If so, please drop me a PM. I'd like to have mine replaced and well, you don't want to know the dealer's price for it...

I'll pay for shipping.

The base of the antenna stays on the car when the shark fin is installed.

Yes it only replaces the antenna. If someone got one from Sigma they have the sharkfin that replaces the base.

I just looked up a new base and I feel for you.

This doesn't have much to do with the topic, but I think the stock antenna is cute, the shark fin kind of ruins the look of the car.

yeah I got quoted Cdn$191++... ugh. Maybe it'll cover up some of the scratches that I made on the roof too >.<.

<sigh> I need a summer job first before I start spending. I hate to be in red by the end of summer.
