I have seen somewhere that there was a hatchback tent available for the prius but don't remember where I saw this.
Does anyone know or have seen this animal?

I had one for my fullsize Chevy truck and it worked excellent. Not sure how it will work for the Prius though. I;d be worried about scratching the paint if the wind picked up. Otherwise I'm actually considering buying one someday since I use this car for everything and often sleep in the hatch area.

The Napier tent is actually for a Matrix, I think, but should work on a Prius.

I never thought of sleeping in the hatch area. Why don't you just fold down the seats the way they were designed and make them into beds?

It apparently is a one-size-fits-most for hatchbacks. Napier's site lists Prius among those it fits.
