While we are not making any public announcement about our newest corporate communications tool, I wanted to make sure that PriusChat participants were aware that Toyota now has its own blog. It's called the Toyota Open Road Blog, and the site went live yesterday with an opening post featuring PriusChat and an event in which several members participated last year. The blog can be accessed by pointing your browser to www.toyotaopenroadblog.com. We've also added a bit of a debunking post concerning the Hummer vs. Prius energy cost claims made in the now infamous CNW Marketing Research report. Thanks to PriusChat participants--and congratulations--for contributing to Toyota's 1 million global hybrid sales, a milestone achieved earlier today and reported by our parent company in Japan.
