Knowledge Base Updated!

Alright, some of you might have noticed (or not) that I've decided that the KB needs to be restored to its former glory.

I've added 8 threads (DIYs and various pieces of information about the Prius) in that forum.

If any of you have previously saved articles from the KB, please add them!! It's rather appalling that we can't send a newbie to the KB because there isn't anything in there to help him/her out.

In particular, we need Evan's (efusco) "Why don't I get the EPA Mileage" document. That long document is very useful for newbies (as well as a good reference of us older folks).

Is there, somewhere in the old KB articles, or somewhere else that I've not found yet, instructions on how to make the Prius beep when you use the fob to lock the doors?
Seriously, I have searched.

By default, it beeps and flashes (it's a soft beep, not the cheapo method of using the horn).

You can have the beep on or off (I believe it always flashes the lights). Unfortunately, it's dealer-customisable not user-customisable.

Hmm... interesting to note that the view-to-download ratio is ~50% (i.e. half the people who view the KBs end up downloading the PDF) with the customisable PDF at 58% lol.

Anyway, if you have anything that you would like to add to the KB, feel free to do so!
