Friends: 0 | You can still check to see if your state, locality, or employer offer any bonuses. My company gave me $3,000 for buying a hybrid. |

According to the irs.gov website, there are no more tax incentives for prius. http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/...157632,00.html Some counties offer credits on pers property tax. My county basically charges nothing for prius. That was a nice surprise.

Friends: 0 | I am currently shopping for my first Prius, and the salesman told us that the $2000 taken off the bottom line on the sticker was Toyota's way of making up for that. Sales BS or something? (the perennial question) |

When I bought my 2006, no dealer would even think about giving discounts. With tax credit gone, the dealer mark downs are a way to encourage buyers and you can think of it as Toyota's way for making up for no more tax credits.
