Friends: 0 | I cut and pasted the following from CNN.com today: $100 fill-ups now a reality Noel Bosse's head spins about as fast as the numbers at the gas pump. Her fill-up costs $101. A man driving a pint-sized Prius spends 43 bucks to fill up. AAA says the worst is yet to come: $4 a gallon nationwide is expected this summer. "It's absolutely ridiculous," Bosse says. full story I find it interesting that the refer to the Prius as being "pint-sized!" I'm 6'6" tall and find my vehicle quite comfortable!!! |

Friends: 0 | What do you expect, fact finding, its CNN. I will say though that while the Prius is classified as a mid-sized vehicle, from the rear, it appears remarkably narrow. Eventhough I've never thought so once inside and I'm 6'-0" 265lb. And I have paid $44 to fill up once so far, it blows!!! I have no idea how people are delain gwith this and why NOTHING is being done to LOWER oil prices. It actually seems like there are more laws coming out to increase oil prices. |

Friends: 6 | I dont think it will stop until we are on par with the rest of the world. I see some crazy people on the hiway doing 80 and more in trucks and sporty cars like gas was free! I just smile and continue to do 55 or 60 and get my 50+mpg in the right lane. I leave early so I am never in a hurry. I noticed that the gas price locally here today was 3.53 regular and 4.23 diesel. Glad I dont drive a truck! |

Friends: 0 | I think it's funny that they're approaching the story this way. Cost to fill up is a function of: 1) Gas price 2) Tank volume Why would they make a big deal about how much it costs to fill up a Prius, when there are tons of cars with an 11 gallon fuel tank? |

Friends: 0 | Definitley need to take mileage into account .. for example, I spent $28 yesterday to fill up my Prius ... I had driven 450 KM .. if I had driven 450 KM in my old car - it would have cost around $50 to fill up. When you look at it that way, you really see the savings! |
