Amory Lovins of the Rocky Mountain Institute offers several analysis examples of Hypercars (that Detroit seems intent on ignoring) while Toyota is moving forward on use of carbon fiber bodies and more efficient vehicle systems. Crude oil is appropriately referred to as the "devil's excrement."
