Friends: 10 |  Re: What should he have done? you can turn off the Pri by holding the power button down for a few seconds, but DO NOT DO THIS. you will lose all power including steering and brakes and more... the Prius tranny will be damaged if rolling and turned off that is why it cannot be towed without putting on a trailer. your best bet is go to neutral that way your speed is reduced. i am glad to hear you are alive |
