Futures Speculators Responsible for the latest Gas Crisis?

Well we finally know those nice Arab gentleman are not responsible for the latest oil and gas crisis. We now know its the stock speculators that figured out what the Saudis have know forever. America runs on fuel. We need it, we we abuse it, and we build vehicles that give the impression nationwide that the fossil fuels are unlimited. And most of all, the speculators know we will pay for it. We will sacrifice almost all of our recreation activities to feed our vehicles and we will pay, including Prius owners, for all of these costs. The speculators are no angels but, please,many of them have retirement pensions embedded in portfolios for their clients, oh yes, that is for us folks that were advised early on to invest in the stock market to secure our retirement.
The Arab oil owners made their presence known almost immediately when the prices rose and those profits didn't end up in their pockets, they acted like they were insulted, kind of like the kid with the behavior problem who suddenly sees bad behavior in someone else and protests loudly how he is so innocent.
Whenever the politicians feed the public they know who is responsible for a crisis, and it doesn't hurt their ties to the big oil or the Saudis, watch out, they are ferocious guardians of their constituency.

I heard a rumor that the banks that lost so big in the mortgage failures were the ones speculating and making big money trying to catch back up by getting us to pay for it with gas prices. It all stinks whatever the truth is
