This photo looks like the result of a terrible parking lot accident. That's why you should always back slowly, and remember to use your backup camera.

Or maybe this is the result of stopping short in front of the peloton.

Which Dahon model are you excited about... and pix?
This is crazy... I love it. That would make a great bike to take on the train and cover the 3 miles to the train station

The ride on that thing would be terrible. First imperfection in the road, and you're down or aching.

Check out the folding bikes at Bike Friday

Bike Friday folding bicycles, travel bicycles and folding bike accessories

especially the Tikit bike, which would be wonderful for commuting, or dropping in the back of your Prius.

http://www.bikefriday.com/tikit

These are made with premium components. I did a week long trip on one in the bas-Pyrenees in the south of France, and contrary to the post the bike was extraordinarily comfortable, stable, and fast.

Yeah that bike with the mini wheels is not for riding on Earth, only over the smooth surface of Pluto.

And I'm sorry but regular sized bikes are really not that inconvenient, and I more often than not have myself a good chuckle at people on folding mini-wheel bikes pedaling their little legs off to the tune of jerky steering and getting from A to B at 1 mph. Full size folding bikes, that's another story. If you're doing 600 or 700 CC wheels, that'll be fine.

Not trying to rain on anybody's parade, I bike every day all day. Just on a real bike, ha!

i'm aware of how much REAL bikes can cost, but to take a bike to travel 3 miles... i wouldn't spend 2k ... just my 2c...

That's the whole fun of it If I want a smooth ride I hop on one of my road bikes. But the train is so packed and space so limited, I would only be able to take a very small foldable bike on it.
