Friends: 0 | I've ridden a Dahon MU extensively. Dahon makes an amazing product in their folding bikes. The only downside being the ride is rough on anything other than smooth surfaces, because of the smaller diameter wheels. If I commuted on public transport I'd have one in a minute. |

Friends: 0 | They make units that fold yet have 26" wheels and even 700C wheels. They would ride ok. I'll have to check them out. It's going to cost about $350 to get a good hitch and carrier, and one of these is around $1000 for decent quality. It could also be taken on the airplane to exotic destinations. Maybe a better alternative to putting a hitch on Pearl? |
