Default GoodYear Fuel Max - Great so far. Buy them

Bought these a couple of weeks ago from Sam's Club. Special order, installed and GoodYear $20 instant rebate. Have over 2000 miles on them already.

Just wanted to say the ride is fantastic and fuel milegae, if not the same, has actually gone up. Had the OEM's and then the Continental Contis.

Very pleased. If the 65,000 mile tread does not last, Sam's Club will prorate.

Sure - I know others have bought these tires and I will keep up the review/rating as I tread along. Most welcome!

Depending on how others on the forum feel about them I may try them out after my Nokian i3s wear out. I won't have to do that till sometime next year though.

What are you inflating them to and did you stick with the stock size?

May want to ask them what proof they will want before the prorating. I had to show every tire rotation and annual alignment when an 80k Michelin tire wore out at 40k and was told they did me a courtesy adjustment.

Thanks - will remember that. Stayed with stock size and have fronts at 51 PSI and rears at 49 PSI. Rated at 51. Probably should go higher and may just do so.

Those look like decent tires for the money. Im still on stock Goodyears, will be shopping for new ones later this year..unless something unforeseen happens to the current set.

50psi? man that has to be a harsh ride. Even @ 44/42 the ride is a bit to rought for my taste..so i let them around 40/38 the mpg difference is so slight it's worth the trade off in a more comfortable ride.

I also got the Fuel Max about a month ago. At the moment they don't seem quite up to my bald Integrities' mpg, but I'm this should improve as they wear. Last weekend my wife and I did a 400 mile roundtrip at 55 mph and averaged 63 mpg, which felt more in line with the Integrities. I ran my Integrities at 50/48 psi. I now have the Fuel Max at 54/52. The Fuel Max are very quiet.

If your old Integritys were near bald then you are most likely running a taller tire now and turning less RPMs and thus tracking lower miles than your Integritys did when bald. So keep that in mind while you are deciding if you like the new tires. They also have to break in which could take a couple thousand miles depending on how yuou drive.

Right, according to Michelin rolling resistance improves by 25% throughout the life of a tire.
