Friends: 0 | I ordered an EV module from Coastal back on 04 Jan, the day after I got my car. I got an e-mail from them the next day saying it would ship in 1-6 days. So far it hasn't. I sent an email two days ago asking for a status update, and that hasn't been answered either. They haven't charged my card yet, but I'm getting impatient. That's a long six days, and no communication. Does anyone have an idea if this is typical for them? |

Friends: 0 | That's what happened to me when I bought my auto door locks from them. Got the initial email, then nothing for several weeks when all of a sudden the package showed up. I guess they just don't have the resources to keep you updated on the status of your order. I don't recall reading anything on the board about people having problems with them - you just have to be patient. |

Friends: 0 | Well, I'd be patient if they had told me it was going to take three weeks. I didn't tie them down and force them to promise me a five-day-tops shipping time, that was their idea. But if they say they will, I assume they mean it. Silly me. Ah, well, I'll just tell myself it's too damn cold out to be installing it this week anyhow. |

Friends: 0 | Yeah, I was sweating bullets until it showed up. I guess I'm spoiled by other online vendors who keep you well informed. |

Friends: 0 | I talked to Kelly this afternoon on the phone after I read your post. You might want to call her to get an update. She did mention that they were not open the beginning part of January. |

Friends: 0 | I ordered a hitch and power outlet adaptor from these folks. They responded to any question I had in short order. It appears they're a fairly small operation, but still find the time to put effort into customer service. |

Friends: 1 | I ordered the EV mod and it showed up. I don't recall an exact timeframe but it came just before Christmas in a timely manner from when I ordered it. I didn't put it in right away as I had a couple of holiday trips and didn't want to take a chance screwing up my car if it was at all possible. Given it is easiest to do with the door open and you on the outside, I would definately wait until it is comfortable enough to be outside without gloves on for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes. Unless you have a friend with a heated garage.
