Friends: 12 | It's been quite an adventure over the past 9 years of "obsession" (for me, a crusade). Our forum here is rapidly changing to one that supports the 2010. Posts about the older model are becoming few and far between. The next generation is drawing everyone's attention now. I'm about to take delivery of mine. In the meantime, I'm going through files on my computer about the 2010. While engrossing myself in the animation on the new MID, the words to the song repeatedly playing in the background finally caught my attention. It was from Kelly Clarkson's latest album. The song title was way too fitting for the situation at hand: MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU Do you think she had a person in mind for that song? Or could it actually have been about a Prius? Sorry, but that's where the mind goes when you are on the verge of replacing a kick-butt Prius with an even better Prius. Consider yourself warned! . Friends: 7 | I've always considered the theme song for my Prius to be "I'm In Love With My Car" by Queen. |

Friends: 59 | I agree! Without Prius, there won't be the PriusChat community. That would suck! |

Friends: 12 | A LITTLE GASOLINE by Terri Clark was always a favorite. Prius is a catalyst for change. With the automobile ingrained so deeply into people's lives, witnessing it change for the better opens up opportunities for other changes too. Without it, what other fundamental influence could make more of a difference? Think about how much you spend over a lifetime on transportation. That's a lot of $$$. So much at risk and so many misconceptions make it quite a challenge to overcome. But now that Prius has been embraced by the masses, we are well on our way... to not sucking. . |

Friends: 18 | John, I've been wondering not just how to approach the change from Iconic Prius to Wow Prius, but how to deal with the coming changes in the Prius "Community." Clearly, we are not all of one mind in all issues, but I believe there is a certain "type" of person who not only was willing to buy a Prius, but really WANTED to buy a Prius. The Wow Prius (the 2010, that is!) is really going to change things. It has taken me less than one day to see this. "We" are hardly going to be an insular community all looking to increase mileage on cars and get away either from controlling oil companies or endangered foreign policy due to oil-rich nations. Anyone who likes a car could buy a Prius. I can't believe the ride in this Prius. It may just be the 215/45 tires, but this car is really something to handle. The whole car feels "tight" and under control. It will be a popular option to many people who had never thought of a hybrid before. In many ways, that shift really signals an accomplishment. You've been looking for this to happen for many, many years, as have almost all of us on PriusChat. But . . . Is the Wow Prius going to become so popular and so common, that our little community will go away? Ahh. A bunch of crocodile tears, I suppose. We really should celebrate this great change and embrace it as a step forward in the evolution, er REVOLUTION (sorry, Chevy!), of personal transportation.
