Friends: 0 | How do you remove those wheel hubcap rim/halos?? I don't want to break nothing. Step by step guide? Video? I tried pulling them off with force but their not coming off. Someone stole one of them from my prius and my car looks awkward with a missing halo. Thanks in advance. |

Friends: 22 | From darelldd at evnut.com: Just hook a couple of fingers like this (and use your other hand in an adjacent spot) and yank toward you. Extra style points for not falling on your butt when it pops off. Last edited by Boo; 10-30-2009 at 11:22 AM. |

Friends: 11 | Alternatively, if you look at the edge of the rim, there a slots, 180 degrees apart, where you can insert a 3/8 wide blade (Stanley 716 offset screwdriver if you can find one), and they will pry right off. They will not break. |

Friends: 35 | You can do it like Doc says but IMO falling on your butt after pulling a trim ring off is like a rite of passage for Prius owners. |

Friends: 0 | A big screwdriver pops them off. They are really tough and you need not worry about damaging them. (except by hitting a curb.) |

Friends: 0 | i think these wheel cap are useless to me. I threw mine away when the OEM tyres wore off. When I change to a new set of tyres I just pull it off and threw it away. Maybe its some weight off my car and I will have a better fuel consumption.. hahahah |
