AnOldHouse posted earlier comments referring to John's web site for an example of colors.  When I went to pick up my Tideland Pearl, I was really unhappy and ended up with the Red Salsa even though it did not have leather. (Add later)  It is hard to get a look at the color before buying.  The color charts are really misleading on the Tideland Pearl and John's color display does nothing to aid this.  Although his whole web site is wonderful.  I would have probably ordered the blue which I think is beautiful after seeing one.  But I am really glad I back-doored into the Red Salsa.[/b]
You were looking for a truer green color? I was, but am not displeased with the Tideland at all after having seen it in person.

The purpose of my posting the link to John's website was to demonstrate that Tideland was not available on the first generation, not for color accuracy.

Well, whatever they called it, it was similar to the green offered on the 04.  Maybe the Tideland is a little darker.  Only saw it once at the dealer.

Okay, I've seen the Aqua Ice classic.[/b]
I've seen both the classic Prius in Aqua Ice Opalescent and the G2 Prius in Tideland Pearl. They're entirely different. The aqua is a bright pastel and the Tideland is almost a gray that's much darker than the Millenium Silver. You really need to set eyes on a Tideland Pearl in person to see the difference.

Yes to AnOldHouse, I was expecting more green, much more. Apparently others including yourself like the Tideland Pearl just fine. The colors shown are just misleading.

How about including the new 2006 colors. :P

I have Super White (2005) but I've seen the new Barcellona Red and it's HOT (maybe the wrong choice of words but I really like it).

Also, this morning I saw a Magnetic Silver and it reminds me of the Mercedes Silver of their Grand Prix cars when they ground off all the paint.

I have a 2006 Black Prius which I love love love, but if the color was still available I'd want a Tideland Pearl. So pretty! And I'd love to get a look at the upcoming color Magnetic Gray. I'm betting it'll be gorgeous too.

I would have rather had the blue.  They had a blue the following week, though I think it was lower package.
Anyone want to trade a 2004 Salsa Red with 23K on it for a Seaside Pearl?
Better not, that would create havock on extended warranty and financing.

Hmmm... It's tempting. <_< Barcelona Red was my first choice and I still love the color, but the dealer called me early in January and said he had a Seaside Pearl with the Nav package if I wanted it and I said yes. I love my car, but I still kind of wish I had the red... *sigh* oh, well, it's only a color... :P

Darnit, I didnt vote there wasnt a listing for OTHER.

I would want Black Cherry Pearl
it changes color in different lighting...

in full sunlight= deep black cherry wine
in flouresent light= deep chocolate brown
in full moonlight = deep glossy black

Ive noticed the Barcelona Red is the same as the 04' salsa red
