I just came back from a trip to Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio. I put over 600 miles on the rental car and never saw one single prius - classic or '04.

But I'm back home and glad to be back with Dyna (that's what I named her) and today on my lunch break I was turning on to Beverly Blvd. by The Grove in Los Angeles and I saw another Tideland Pearl coming in the opposite direction! "Man," I thought, "that's a hot looking car!"

Not too many Prii here in W.Pa. but they are coming. Erie has a few of the Classics. I travel to Cleveland quite often and I do not see many there. I know my dealer has several on order so it won't be long......

Default Trip to AZ had a plenty

I've seen quite a few here in SoCal.

On Dec 21st, driving to/from the Inland Empire, I saw 3 - 2 going to my desitionation going the opposite direction on the freeway, and 1 on the way back (recognized the headlight pattern at night).

Driving out to Arizona on Dec 23rd, I passed two going the opposite way, and had one following me for a few miles near Palm Springs. Never saw any in AZ though.

Driving back from AZ on the 28th, I had a Seaside BC (HID lights) with New Mexico plates pass me near Cabazon on the I-10 west.

I spot them occasionally driving to/from work as well on the I-5 in the Irvine area, and have spotted two in my home city. They're arround, and their numbers are growing :-)

I have seen three.

The first one was a Driftwood Pearl from Fremont Toyota CA, I went home late that day and ended up driving beside her in Pleasanton CA.

Second was on Thanksgiving Day, I believe it was a Silver one, it was driving behind the Claremont in Berkeley

The third was today as I was driving back to work after lunch in Pleasanton CA. It was also a Driftwood Pearl. I recognized the headlights. It was waiting for a light.

I cant wait to get mine.

A silver one on campus at UCI (I honked and surprised her)

This afternoon I went out to send off a package and I parked on Beverly Blvd. near La Cienega and when I pulled into the spot and looked in the rear view I noticed it was a Salsa Red! There we were, to '04 parked together!

The other car had some chrome wheel upgrades and it looked pretty nice. It was purchased from Toyota of Hollywood. I was hoping that the other driver would notice me, but when I was done with my errand, they were still there.

Saw my first 04 Salsa Red Prius in the wild on the 13th in Houston, Texas at the corner of Richmond and Beltway 8. I was going to lunch with my boss so I pointed it out to him. The Prius pulled onto the beltway and accelerated quite briskly away as I waited at the light. It was a lovely and bueatiful sight since I can't get one until the '05's come out.

I have seen every color in the wild but have not seen mine yet I too think that Tideland looks gray to me. It has been two months since we ordered ours and have another two months to go. I really hope its not that long.
