It's two seperate pieces. You have to buy a headunit (a standard or the video version) and then the cable. Alpine is uber expensive too. Not to mention replacing your cd player with another one is going to look like crap. | |

Friends: 0 | I would check the cost of installing an Alpine plus the Full Speed, vs just the VAIS alone. It also appears you'll not have control via the steering wheel or MFD in any case. |

Friends: 0 | Well, that's good. It still seems to be a large investment. The Alpine CDA-9857 shown on the demo sells for at least $264, then add another $30 for the Full-Speed. You're close to a VAIS right there. |
