Friends: 0 | This may have been discussed in the past but I am not sure where to look. When you turn on the the car the first screen you get is the consumption screen. I always like to drive with the energy screen, however, so I always push to it. Since every little button pushing is extra work (for a lazy bumm like me), my question is, is there a way to get the energy screen come up right away (after you turn the car on and without having the consumption one come up first)? Thanks for any enlightenment. |

Friends: 41 | Are you looking at the consumption to check your mpg before you turn off the car? My Prius (an '04) starts up on the screen I was on when I shut down....prob. same on the '06 |

Friends: 0 | Update: I turned the car off on the energy screen but when I turned it back it on the first thing that comes up is the consumption screen. Does anyone know of a tweak to have the eneregy screen come up first? I know, there are more important things in life, but that's all I can concentrate on (and yes, I need to get a life...after this is resolved). Thanks for anyone giving me some insight. |

Friends: 41 | Only other though I have is what your settings for the mfd are. If you go to climate screen do you have your system set to return to the previous screen or does it stay on climate until you change it? If it's on the 'return to previous' you might try switching that to the 'stay on indefinately' setting. Then try the put it on "Energy" on shut down trick. If that doesn't work I don't have any other suggestions. |
