Thumbs up

Which badges/logos are stuck on with two sided tape and have no prongs or tabs that are inserted into the car? I'm a big fan of the stealth look and would like to remove a lot of the bagdes if possible.

The only ones with holes and pins are the Toyota logos from and back (the sylized T). I found this out the hard way... you get it easy.

I put a little emblem removal blurb at the top of this page:

Yeah, I'd heard that. The good news is that I *think* you can use those same mounting holes for side signal lights like you'll see in the non-North America market.

the holes are nothing a little bondo, careful sanding, and touch-up paint cant fix.
Just like fixing a hole in the wall with putty. :P

Yeah I'd be interested to find out if in fact thats where they mount the signal lights. I think most people would rather have those in place of the badges.

And as for the bondo...not for me I'm sure I'd mess something up and have to take it to a body shop lol.

I tried to go after the Toyota logos on mine, and made a mess.

RP7 or any of the penetrating lube sprays and a little heat will soften the adhesive without damage to paint or plastic. No, you don't have to believe me, use brake cleaner if you want.

07 Prius in Australia have turn lights on the side and Hybrid badges so I doubt the lights are mounted where the holes are in US cars.
