Friends: 10 | Brian, for the design of your product, take in consideration this approach, I installed my brace from another Toyota product, full anodized Aluminum T6 and heavy steel plate for the towers base. The brace appliance installs under the cawl with enough clearance. I'm riding mine well over a year, with a substantial and better performance. I'm including some pictures for your viewing. Friends: 1 | The brace is purty. Now if only it could be triangulated into the firewall somehow... |

Friends: 1 | By tying the bar into the firewall, you create 3 points of attachment which can significantly stiffen the bar by preventing lateral movement of the bar itself when both shock towers flex in the same direction. Standard procedure when building strut-bars on a race/performance car, but most aftermarket bars skip this as most often there isn't a handy attachment spot without drilling holes into the car. If you search google images for triangulated strut tower brace you'll see what I mean. |

Friends: 0 | Does the brace interfere with the oil filler access? I already have a hard time getting the funnel in there even without the brace. I already have the rear brace, and will be in line for the front one, as a "loyal" customer. Thanks. |
