LockPick 1 Help with New Nav DVD

I have a 2005 Prius and was using the Coastal LockPick Blue 1 with great success to unlock the Nav Unit to input addresses while driving. When I upgraded to the 7.1 Nav DVD (really had to with new construction in my area), cannot enter addresses while driving anymore. I know Coastal does warn of this occuring and was willing to accept the risk to get the more accurate streets. But does anyone know if there is any workaround? I emailed and phones Coastal to ask (and I am willing to pay for a revised LockPick), but no answer from them at all. Is it a matter of Toyota eliminating the back door? I notice the LockPick 3 will unlock destination input (if you have a newer vehicle).
