I don't have an EBH but, this is a great idea on how you implemented it.

The plug is weatherproof when not in use because of the rubber cover. Since I have no garage in which to park my Prius, my concern it how to have it be weatherproof when IN use. Obviously the license plate provides a fair amount of 'roof', maybe that is enough? (And I REALLY like the stealth of hiding it under the plate )
I like the idea of a weatherproof plug, the best I can do now is shove the connected plug ends inside the lower grill and hope I don't crack the plastic grates in the process at -20F.

Nice.. but I have to ask.. How many times have you forgotten to disconnect before driving away?

Maybe you could add an ignition kill relay thats energized when plugged in.

Great job Jay! Of course you've just made my life a bit more difficult, everyone will want that "hidden" plug on the install.
