katzkin leather for package#2

Hi guys, anybody have katzkin leather?Im thinking of getting the kit for my soon to come package #2.How does it look?and how much should I expect to have it installed,anybody know a good place in new york for installation.Thanks in advance

One of the deciding factors of us getting our Prius was if we could get heated seats as we live in the Great White North! We found out that heated seats were only available with leather. I'm not sure it's Katzkin Leather, but it is definitely leather and the seats do indeed warm up nicely. We were initially told that the leather package was not available in Canada, but we found a dealer that would do it for us FAP (for a price), which we gladly paid.

I have Katzkin leather in my 08 Pkg 2 Touring and love it. I compared it to the Pkg 6 leather and prefer the Katkin. I have had it in several other cars and in each case it was great. Consider the perforated centers as it looks great and it is much cooler.......ron

I found a site that has the seats listed.

Katzkin Leather for the Toyota Prius from ShopSAR.com

If you select the "Customize this kit" you will then be able to select the virtual seat design button to have some fun with the different colors.

I have had Katzskin installed in my Customized PT Cruiser and it is high quality.

If you are looking to have this done you can have any automotive interior shop do it. If I remember correctly it cost me $1700 to have the leather installed on my PT... that is parts and labor.

I had my dealer install the Katzkin leather seats and dual setting seat heaters for $1600 (this was on my 3 year old Prius.). Car looks and smells new now - the old fabric looked really shabby after 3 years. Also, I have a dealer warranty on the leather seat covers/heaters/installation for 3 years.
