Friends: 0 | Looks like most every one knows that Hybrid Effects has finished it's Prius Wheel Skirts. The Prius is wonderful car and I hope that every one that likes wheel skirts will enjoy them. When I was driving the Prius around with the wheel skirts installed people were pointing and looking and it gave me great joy to see that they liked them. Hybrid Effects is working on many other aero mods for the Prius, it just takes time. Hybrid Effects is going to offer a Prius Aero Package that consists of a Grille Block, Aero Hub Caps and the Wheel Skirts. The Prius Aero Package really transforms the Prius Hybrid into one cool looking machine. Hybrid Effects is releasing these products at a fair price due to there recent introduction into the market. Note: After initial installation the wheel skirts can be removed fairly easy but the install and removal process could be improved upon. Hybrid Effects is offering a $200.00 rebate to any person that purchases the Wheel Skirts and can improve on the installation and removal process. Providing Hybrid Effects approves of there process and use of hardware. This is one way that Hybrid Effects can keep it's prices lower. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks Franklin |

Friends: 6 | I think all of us here would be interested to see how much an improvement in MPG you can achieve with all of these mods. Do you have any date for that? Regards, Nikki. |

Friends: 9 | that wil not heat the brakes that fast only breaking all the time when your on the highway when its busy at higher speeds( something the prius is doing on its electric motor and not using its brakes at all.) will heat them up so there is cooling to be done. |

Friends: 0 | Well I had just posted a very lengthily post replying to every ones concerns and Prius chat decided not to remember my pass word and lost the very long post sorry. Mud flaps would have to be removed as the wheel skirts attach where they attach. The touring wheels should work but will have to be tested. Weight is probably ten pounds. To be safe I will say 1/2 mpg increase. There is documentation that wheel skirts and grille blocks do increase mpg. The wheel skirts will not cause the brakes to over heat, those using flat hub caps have proven this. sorry for the short replies , does any one know why prius chat will not remember my password?????????????????????????????????????????? ???? Thanks Franklin Last edited by Hybrid Effects; 07-05-2008 at 11:51 AM. |
