Friends: 3 | This is a very nice review. It appears the pack is working beyond expectations when using good driving skills. Keep up the good work, I've really enjoyed the reviews. Maybe you will finish this tank by October! ---Kent |

Friends: 0 | I've heard the "transmission" only pumps the fluids when the ICE is running, and that scares me! Any comments? Would this installation conflict with my extended warrenty? |

Friends: 1 | Those are results I'd hoped to see! Nice work, thanks for the write up. In your highway test when you said you were holding 150+ with ice on, what rpm/tps/ign was the car at? Have you tried using shm at around 50 mph? Also, it would be neat to see how it performs if you do all accelerating with the ice and use the pack to hold speed (could you get 100mpg for 100 miles out of it at faster speeds than a stock prius?). You mentioned 20a to hold 32 mph, have you tried holding 40 mph in stealth?

Friends: 10 | so with traction battery assist to a small degree you are getting 6 miles per kwh...very nice. in my much lighter Zenn, i am getting 4½ miles/kwh but i will say that i drive full throttle nearly 100% of the time (heck it only goes a max of 38 mph!!) this is tempting since my RT commute is 14 miles...with frequent side trips to the gym making my distance bet charges to 18 miles.... i could goes months bet fillups...very tempting. i am no where near getting ready to sell my Pri... but am looking for another EV option...if Zenn comes thru with their CityZenn as advertised, that is what i will be getting, but if not, i may just get another Pri and convert

Is there anything "bad" that could happen for running the car for 10's of miles only in EV mode? | |

Friends: 0 | Thanks for the info. Obviously you are an accomplished hypermiler, but still, those results are impressive. I fear if I drove like that on my commute I would be killed. Just how slowly do you have to accelerate to stay in all EV mode? When I try to accelerate in all EV mode from a stop light here in San Francisco I usually run the risk of being run over by a muni bus. |
