Friends: 22 | New pictures uploaded. Just use the link in my first post. Battery is in the car. I decided to leave the service center and head back to the hotel. They will keep the car overnight and I will pick it up in the morning. There is nothing else special to stay and take more pictures. All thats left is to put everything back together, charge and test it. |

Friends: 0 | Is this temporary or is it part of the standard installation? Using an air vent as a cable exit does not seem like good practice. http://jaygroh.dreamhost.com/priusch...w/DSC04404.JPG |

Friends: 59 | Just wondering... Does the install/upgrade come with tire repair kit? It will be essential since you won't have the spare anymore. |

I will try to answer all questions the best I can as soon as I get back home and sort things out and drive a few miles to see how things work.

Friends: 0 | I know everyone has a thousand questions for you, but I am adding a few more to the list: 1. What does the dash button and light do? 2. Can you disable the system and if so what type of steps are required to use the supplemental battery (just unplug and go)? 3. Is the charger for the batteries attached to the bottom of the unit (filling the spare tire area)? 4. Did it come with an owners manuel, if so, could you scan and attach it to your next post? 5. How do you know the SOC on the L5 battery pack? 6. Does the vehicle sag from the additional weight, if so, do you plan to compensate for the additional weight? O.K. I will stop bombarding you with questions...for now anyway. Last edited by jrmgkia; 08-12-2008 at 05:43 PM. |

Friends: 4 | Hey - thanks for the posts and pics. My tentative install date is in October and I'm really curious to know what is in store and what MPG results I may expect! I also am curious to know if the system can be disabled, for instance if I'm driving over mountains I'd like to turn the system off if coasting down for a long time... Congrats! You must be really excited to get your new and improved baby back! |
