6 years? The Prius is about the same price as your Spec-V
On an average 15k miles per year the Prius costs 1300$ less in fuel per year, and emits about half the CO2 that the Spec-V emits (4 tons vs 7.7 tons per year)

I liked my Spec-V a lot. I wasn't "on-board" when it came down to purchasing a new car, with Prius as one of the selections. I wanted something that had as much power, and cornering ability of the Spec-V. I got the Prius, anyways, since I new that gas wasn't going to get any cheaper, and I liked the technology. After some handling upgrades, I don't even miss the Spec-V. My Prius corners far better than my Spec-V could ever hope to manage. The Spec-V is just a quick econobox that, in it's current design, makes me want to barf.

Does that Spec-V still have a solid rear axle? I personally prefer the Nissans that have the V-Spec designation
